MANITOBA HORSES FOR SALE:

Airbornne

4.5 year old 16.2 HH and growing Sporthorse. Has had lots of time working on trails, in the arena and at clinics. She's soft and understands proper collection, moves her hip and picks up shoulder, basic understanding of two track, walk trot canter (picks up correct leads) stops nicely with seat and backs. She has fluid movement and would be suitable for an intermediate with limited young horse experience.

I have too many young horses to ride this winter. She recently passed a vet check, confidently jumping cross rails. Offered at $5000.

Tex

11 yr old approx 15.2hh gray.

Loves people, easy to catch, good for vet, farrier, bathing, enjoys getting hosed down and handled.

Likes to work and have something to do. He is not the dominant one in the herd. Settles into new places well.

He has done some simple low jumping, grid work and at the Parelli clinic he went over barrels with good form.

Call for info and pricing.

Twister fan Bonnie View

Friesian, FHANA registered (foaled 2006) Sibald x Tjimme, gelded June 2011, sticked at 16.2 last fall.

Twister has been started very very slowly and has had 30 days basic work with Clint Kinkaid Oct 2010 (he said it was okay to call him if anyone had questions) and 2 weeks with a western trainer last summer (Adam Teeter). Very steady on the trail, extremely calm and trusting of his rider and sensible. His spook to date has been to look sideways at new things, he has never jumped. He has been ground driven since he was 2 and if he stays he will continue on to full harness work. Otherwise he is a trail horse, we use him in Riding Mountain where we put on lots of miles, this weekend he will be going in to camp overnight (he has done this a few times now) and 20 miles on the trail is fine by him.

Priced at $15,000

Willow

15.2h nine year old grey TB/Warmblood cross by the dutch warmblood jumper Oxford (not registered).

Has had over two months of professional training. Been ridden on trail rides by herself and with groups, has had extensive work lunging and in round pens. Willow loads, bathes, clips, ties, and stands for the farrier easily. She is used to hobbles, blankets, and shipping boots.

She's been in one year of 4H and done three schooling shows. Willow has been shown up to 2'0 hunters, and is very good around other horses and the busy show atmosphere. She will jump anything and isn't daunted by height.

Willow has a lot of confidence, she would be an excellent horse for a more assertive rider.

Priced at $5,500

Max

Lovely 14h six year old blue roan.

He has been ridden by 14 year old from the time she was 11. They have been in pony club together and he has been exposed to all pony club activities including all ground work, PPG, and jumping.

He loves to jump and they have shown up to 2'3", but has been schooled higher. She is currently training with a local coach and is schooled weekly. They just recently placed 1st in the All Breeds horse show in Brandon for pony over 2'3 fences. He is an easy keeper that has a beautiful long stride, hauls and bathes well, has good feet, is up to date on shots.

Asking $4,000

Tru Charm

2006 registered solid paint grulla mare.

Been ridden English and western and has been used extensively on the trail and in lessons with my more advanced students. Mouse has gone to Working Cow Horse clinics and has been started on cattle. She has shown lightly at local shows.

Teeth floated this spring and is UTD on all vaccinations. She is easy to trailer and clip. She's consistent, with lots of try and athletic ability.

Ilea

9 yr old registered Warmblood mare.

Has jumped 3'3", huge scope over jumps. She had professional jumping training at Dorsch Farms and has been shown in jumping and dressage. She loads and trailers well, bathes and has excellent ground manners. She has a floating trot and smooth sitting trot and canter.

She enjoys working, is a smart and willing horse and retains her training well if not ridden for a while. She is out of Little Mary ( CWHBA ) and Icarus (Hannoverian).

Resoluut aka “Zoe”

Born July 2006, she presently stands approximately 16.3 hands barefoot, weighs 1150 lbs and we believe she isn’t done growing yet. So much size and oh so elegant! Zoe’s dam is Winningconvictions, a 16.3 hand Thoroughbred from the Mr. Prospector line. Her sire is West Winds Ricky Martin, a 16.3 hand Swedish Warmblood sired by Rambo. Zoe seems to have gotten her momma's colouring and her daddy's big movement. She has a huge floaty trot with a wonderful point to her trot. She has wonderful movement through the shoulder. She has a lovely canter. She is a bright bay with a star and snip, as well as a right hind sock and a left-fore inside coronet. Bix Oro (Baseball)   SOLD

This youngster came to us off the race track as he had no ambition to run - those are the ones we like for the show ring. He is sooo personable and very very quiet for an ex-race horse. He is only four, 16.1 hh and growing. He is now ready to compete in dressage at Training Level.

He has what we call as dressage judges "air time " in his movement ...

His trot has a WOW quality seldom seen in a Thoroughbred. His hocks are quick and super well flexed when he moves, his forearms come up (excellent piaffe and passage potential) and then he reaches well from the shoulder (excellent extension material) and his canter is lofty with high forearm action and super hock action. This makes for easy ability for successive flying changes (tempi's) and jumping.

Very quiet, nice personality, very willing to learn. No vices. Feet, teeth well maintained, shots up to-date.
